Cheryl Roffe

Cheryl grew up in Kenora, Ontario and completed her BA in Psychology at Laurentian University. She went on to complete her teaching degree in Sydney, Australia at the University of Western Sydney and met someone special.  After supporting students in a variety of positions including Support Teacher for Learning Difficulties, Support Teacher for English Language Learners, and Kindergarten Teacher, she trained as an Educational Psychologist at the University of Western Sydney and worked and became registered in this capacity in Western Sydney area schools.
 
Cheryl and her family eventually returned to Ontario, and she furthered her studies at Athabasca University in the area of Counselling Psychology. She has worked as a Teacher, Psychometrist, Counsellor, Mental Health Lead with School Mental Health Ontario, and Supervising Psychologist in a variety of Ontario schools and agency settings and is registered as both a Teacher and Psychologist. Currently, Cheryl, her partner, and two daughters are living in Lindsay, Ontario. 
 
Cheryl's passions include family (which includes 2 dogs and a rabbit), hockey (playing, watching, coaching) as well as music (playing and listening).  Cheryl is also very passionate about increasing understanding in the areas of mental health, FASD, social justice, interprofessional collaboration and equity and inclusion.

Melissa is a dedicated professional aimed at empowering individuals and enhancing their mental well-being. She grew up in Woodville, Ontario and completed her B.A. and B.Ed. degrees at Lakehead University. With nineteen years in Education, her career transitioned from the classroom to leadership roles, culminating as Principal. Driven by a desire to effect broader change, Melissa redirected her focus towards mental health advocacy and recently completed a Social Work degree at Lakehead University. 

 

Melissa, specializing in adolescent mental health, understands the link between mental well-being and academic success. She offers tailored support, resources, and strategies to empower clients throughout their well-being and developmental journey. Her expertise extends to collaborating with families, offering guidance on establishing well-being routines and implementing effective coping mechanisms. Melissa has experience in addressing various challenges, including trauma, grief, addiction, and special needs.

 

Beyond work, Melissa is in a whirlwind of parenting her three awesome kids alongside her supportive husband.

Jordyn Roffe

Jordyn Roffe was born in Sydney, Australia but has also called multiple small towns in Ontario her home. She completed her BA (Honours) in International Development Studies with an Optional in Legal Studies at Trent University, where she further developed her strong interest in social justice issues. Jordyn has worked with various organizations to promote equality and kindness, contributing to research and educational content for social media platforms, enhancing her communication skills and understanding of complex social issues.

At clrPSYCH, Jordyn works as a report writer, collecting biographical information, developmental histories, and assessment data/observations to develop comprehensive and meaningful psychological reports. She also works to provide efficient administrative assistance to support communication and organizational structures at clrPSYCH.

​

Outside of work, Jordyn enjoys writing on various creative projects and spending time with her rabbit, Newt. She remains dedicated to contributing positively to her community and advocating for meaningful change.
